MYS - Sugar Plum - 28ct Lugana - 13x18

Sugar plum is a medium shade of purple but there is a wide range of color between the different fabrics. Linen normally has a deeper purple and less pink shading. It also may show slight blue layers. Aida dyes with a lot of pink tones which show some purple. Opal Aida 14 is pinker while Lugana and Opal Aida 18 dye as a light purple. This color shows the variety of shades that come from a single dye recipe. Sugar Plum shows mottling well and likes to give hints of blue on some fabrics.

Each dye batch is hand dyed to order and unique. Future batches of this color will not be exact carbon copies of photographed colors. Photos colors may vary depending on device, my recipe stays the same. Colors may vary slightly between jars of dye and rolls of fabric.

Fabric Information: All of the fabrics are Zweigart unless otherwise listed. Sizes for each fat quarter vary depending on the size of the bolt I am cutting from. Fabric is measured before dyeing. Fabrics will shrink during the dyeing process. I recommend starting all projects in the center of Hand Dyed fabrics.
